Service Description

Story Box at your educational setting is a great way to maximise developmental and communication potential through inclusive activities created and delivered by a Speech and Language Therapist. Our aim is to educate and entertain children of all ages and abilities through performing arts, with a special focus on bridging the gap in communication between children with SEN and their peers. Each 30-40 minute Story Box class consists of an interactive performance of an original story using puppets, props and pictures, followed by drama games and activities linked to the learning topic, with speech, language and communication strategies at the heart of each session. All stories and activities are shaped around the EYFS framework and National Curriculum and Makaton sign and visuals are used throughout the session. Story Box can be enjoyed weekly as an extra-curricular activity as well as performances at special events such as Graduations, Christmas and Easter parties etc. Please get in touch to discuss Story Box at your educational setting.
